British Airways first quarter loss hits record 94m pounds

British Airways PLC reported on Friday a record operating loss of £94 million (Dh571 million) for the first quarter as people cut down on travel amid the recession, and said there were “no visible signs of improvement” in the market beyond a seasonal up-tick for the summer.
